Denver Wickenhauser – Executive Chef Puerto Galera, Dumaguete & Azores
Denver was born in Manila but raised in the southern part of Germany; he brings with him over twelve years of experience in the restaurant business. A graduate of Culinary and Hotel Management he worked in several high-end restaurants in Germany before opening his own, "Vinum", in 2005. However the call of the Philippines was always there and in 2008 he returned "home", a blessing for Atlantis as we are sure you will agree after your first meal with us!
 
Mick Bondoc - Head Chef Puerto Galera
Mick graduated with a BS degree in Hotel Management and has over fifteen years experience in the food and beverage industry where he has worked as everything from the dishwasher up; he's also worked on cruise ships travelling half way the round the world. You may not just find Mick in the kitchen and he is known to enjoy the dive sites of Puerto Galera as well so look out for him at the morning dive briefings.
 
Edward Maranan – Restaurant Supervisor Dumaguete
Ed is a native of Puerto Galera and has worked at Atlantis for many years but his real calling came when a supervisory position opened up at Dumaguete and Ed moved family and all 300 miles to Dauin to join our team there. Ed has made a name for himself as a capable and dedicated restaurant supervisor and is known for his ability to pick up languages and friendly demeanour; watch out for him underwater as well.
 
Varry dela Pena – Pastry Chef Dumaguete
Varry started with Atlantis as a stock clerk but his skills in the kitchen were spotted by Denver and he has developed in to a talented pastry chef. His funny ways and smiling face keep the kitchen happy even when it's hot!
 
Marlon Abao – Sous Chef Puerto Galera
Locally born and raised Marlon has been with Atlantis for six years; in-house trained this incredibly talented young man has progressed to one of the area's finest chefs and our second in command. While a little on the shy side you will not be disappointed with anything Marlon sends to your table.
 
Danilo "Tonton" Bueno – 50 Bar Bartender Puerto Galera
Danilo, aka Ton-Ton, is truly an Atlantis Puerto Galera icon. Typically filipino, he is always willing to please all with his humble attitude and friendly nature. Ton-Ton works in Toko's 50bar, our relaxed drinking venue down on Sabang Beach. He takes pride in his bar and ensures the MP3 volume is up and has music for all occasions, the beer is flowing and shooters are lined up ready whenever the infamous bar bell is rung. It is not uncommon for Ton-Ton to work his crowd into a frenzy of cheers and singing during the night.
 
Rhendo De Jesus – Restaurant Supervisor Puerto Galera
Rhendo's claim to fame is serving several ex presidents including Gloria Arroyo and Imelda Marcos. Rhendo is our head waiter in Puerto Galera and has been with Toko's since its inception and with Atlantis for several years prior to that. He has extensive experience as a lounge supervisor, captain waiter and head waiter at prestigious hotels in Manila prior to joining Atlantis and is a well liked and respected member of staff.
