We’re very proud of the facilities that we have at Atlantis Tech, and we feel that they are by far and away the best facilities available to divers on the beach.
Gear set up is 10 steps away from the beach. Gear is put together on “Ron’s Bench”, named after John Bennett’s long time friend and dive buddy Ron Loos. Ron still teaches TDI instructor courses with us if required.
We are lucky enough to have a large pool for preliminary skills development.
Rental equipment is available for all tech needs
We have a dedicated equipment maintenance area, with trained staff and a selection of ‘special tools’ required for several manufacturers equipment
Our changing facilities are superb. No crowded little room with ‘your own personal plastic crate’, or standing outside to get changed. Each diver has a personal hanging area for wetsuit, fins and harness (Though most leave on tanks for the duration of the stay). In addition, each diver has a personal cubby hole for smaller items.
Our teaching takes place in classrooms / conference rooms where DVD players and projectors are available
We have a large reference library covering a diverse range of subject areas from diving physiology to the wrecks of Truk Lagoon
There is a dry multimedia room for charging torches, cameras and DPVs. This caters for 110v-110v and 220v-240v
Although we don’t focus on retail, we have a selection of equipment from basics to essentials. We sell what we dive.
Finally we have a bar! What better way to end a great days diving, than sat by the beach with a beer in your hand as the sun goes down.
