I was well taken care of from start to finish. Once we were met at the airport, I never touched my bags again. We took a van to a boat and arrived at Atlantis around 1am. It was a super smooth transition for a tired group.

The staff was amazing. They seamlessly committed all our names to memory immediately.

I just finished spending a week with Atlantis Dive for the ScubaBoard Invasion. I can’t say enough about the customer service. They are the best. Everyone knew us by name as soon as we walked in the door. Amazing! The staff knew us.. They knew what we wanted, and how we wanted it.

The food is second to none.. Amazing food! Along with the amazing food, they went out of their way to prepare it the way you wanted it. Gluten free diet? Boom! There it is. Fabulous food.

PADI-Experienced-Diver-Program

PADI Open Water Diver

PADI Open Water Diver is a lifelong certification, your passport to amazing dive experiences worldwide. It qualifies you to dive with a buddy independent of supervision, within the limits of your training and experience.

Your highly experienced instructor will be right by your side to guide you through the course at your own pace, building confidence as you go. Group sizes are always kept small and we guarantee lots of personal attention; you can also request one-on-one tuition for a small premium.

You don’t need to be an Olympic swimmer, but you must be able to swim 200 meters/yards and float (tread water) for 10 minutes without floatation aids.

The course is split into three parts and it starts in the water.

  • Confined Water Dives – Five pool training sessions in our comfortable and convenient training pool will teach you the scuba skills that you’ll need to dive safely and enjoyably.
  • Knowledge Development – Five knowledge development sessions using an easy to understand book and video and plenty of practical examples from your instructor will make sure you understand the basics of dive theory and how to plan scuba dives.
  • Open Water Dives – Your four open water dives are where it all comes together, as you practice your scuba skills and enjoy the magnificent underwater world of the Philippines! Maximum depth 18m-60ft.

The course can also be combined with an Enriched Air Nitrox course or dive, ask for more details.

You can save valuable holiday time by completing the knowledge development work at home using the PADI Open Water CD-ROM or DVD. Ask us how.

PADI eLearning – Whether you’re on the go or want to take it slow, now you can complete the knowledge development portion of the PADI Open Water Diver course online with PADI eLearning. Once you arrive in resort you can complete your training with one of our experienced Instructors in as little as two days. It’s a great match for your active schedule.

What’s next? Dive! As a PADI Open Water Diver you can enjoy fun dives or increase your diving enjoyment with the Adventure or Advanced Open Water Diver programs. From photography and fish ID to night and wreck diving, there is something for everyone.

If you started your training elsewhere and were not able to complete it, why not carry on here? You must bring with you your PADI referral paper work completed by your initial instructor indicating, and signed off for, all the knowledge development and water-work modules you have completed.

Upon successful completion of the remaining course requirements you will be a certified Open Water Diver!

The duration and cost depend on how much of the course you have left to complete; details available on request with details of what you have completed to date.

  • Suitable for any ages

PADI Experienced Diver Program

If you have been diving a while but do not have a certification card, this is an easy way to get certified. You need to have logged at least twenty dives (and bring the signed logbook with you).

You will have to complete a knowledge review (the quizzes from the Open Water Diver Course); a skill circuit (to either bring you up to date or introduce you to water skills you have forgotten or never seen) and do four training dives to ensure you posses all the skills necessary to dive safely.

On completion you will be awarded the PADI Open Water Diver certification, enabling you to go on and explore new areas of diving.

Minimum age is 12. The course takes two days to complete and costs depend on necessary module to be completed.

Review either the PADI Open Water Manual or PADI “Tune up” book before arriving if possible.
