There are not many places left in the world where you can have a whole beach to yourself. Kayaking, hiking, swimming and snorkeling add to the list of non-diving activities. Some of the best views are from Ponderosa, a nine-hole golf course 500 meters up a near-by mountain. And how about a reptile zoo, with the biggest snake collection in Asia?

| Hash Run-Puerto Galera Hash House Harriers |
Three bored Englishmen started 'Hash Running' in 1938. The first ‘runs’ were from the Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the objective has always been the same… to find the hidden beer. A 'Hare' sets a chalk trail that takes the runners (well, most are walkers) around a scenic trail to the "On On". (The On On being the post walk/run party). There are now more than 1854 clubs in 154 countries.
The 'Hashers' meet every Sunday at 4pm outside Captain Greggs on Sabang Beach, just 100m from Atlantis. |
