Specialty courses are a great way to experience and learn about the areas of diving that interest you most. As with all our courses, we emphasize in-water skills and practice. During these courses knowledge is not formally tested but applied on actual dives. And there's no better way to learn than under the supervision of an Instructor with the same interests. Most courses include 2-4 dives and will take 1-4 days.

| PADI Deep Diver |
Experience the mystery and thrill of the deep. Essential training on how to conduct safe, fun deep dives and an opportunity to try out new and exciting dive sites.
There's a lot more to deep diving than you might think and this course will leave you well prepared.

Experience the best night life in the Philippines. You aren't afraid of the dark, are you?
The course covers the planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards associated with diving at night. We'll look at the use of dive lights & buddy system techniques as well as an orientation to nocturnal life and emergency procedures.

| PADI Underwater Navigation |
Become a more independent diver. Learn the tricks and techniques for effective underwater navigation with games and exercises which are great fun.
Covers planning, organizing, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of underwater navigation. Learn methods of estimating distances underwater, natural navigation techniques, underwater search patterns as well as dive site relocation and compass navigation techniques.

| PADI Equipment Specialist |
This course is designed to familiarize divers with operation and maintenance of diving equipment in general.
This is not an equipment repair course but a look at the theory, principles and operation of dive equipment, routine care and maintenance procedures, common problems and suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations.

- Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver or other qualifying certification.

| PADI Enriched Air (NITROX) |
How about staying underwater twice as long as everybody else? Or what about doing four dives in one day, and still not feel tired? Nitrox might just be your thing. By using more oxygen in your breathing mix, you will extend your bottom times and get a better look a that turtle when everybody else have to head off to the safety stop.
During the course, you will understand the theory behind enriched air, as well as learning to plan your own dives with the help of dive tables, formulas and your computer. You will also take a look at how compressors work and how to analyse your tank.
This is the course for those of you who are in a hurry – the course dives are not mandatory, and you can complete the corse in one afternoon.

| AWARE Fish ID |
They are beautiful, and there are so many. But do you really know a Moorish Idol from a Long Fin Banner Fish?
This course introduces diver to fish families and species of the tropical waters of the Philippines. It also involves you in the conservation of marine ecosystems.
During two dives, you will learn how to identify fish families, species, habitat and abundance with the help of slates (for you to draw on!) and fish ID cards.

- Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver or other qualifying certification.

Coral reefs – like any Hollywood movie they are all about sex and murder! Learn about how the oceans inhabitants live together.
The course takes a look at the major aquatic life groupings and provides an overview of basic aquatic life interactions and associations. Learning more about what you see is the best way to enjoy diving even more. For aspiring treasure hunters! Improve your navigational skills and perform underwater searches, then practice surfacing different sized objects.
This fun course covers planning and organizing search and recovery dives as well as the equipment and techniques required. Have great time dropping old outboard motors into the ocean and then relocating and recovering them.

| PADI Wreck Diver |
Wrecks have always fascinated divers; learn to dive them safely and take a step back in time.
The course covers the planning, organizing, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving. The preparation and use of lights, air supplies and special equipment such as penetration lines and reels as well as limited visibility diving and emergency procedures. Great preparation for the wrecks of Coron, Subic Bay or Truk Lagoon.
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver or other qualifying certification.

| Dolphin Semiclosed Rebreather |
What if you could get so close to the fish, you could almost touch them? With the semiclosed rebreather, you can. The lack of bubbles will not scare the fish away, which makes it excellent for underwater photography. With the rebreather, you will also be able to spend much longer underwater, without changing tanks.
Learn how to use this unit – take it apart and put it back together – and how to adjust your buoyancy with a semiclosed system.

| PADI National Geographic Diver Program |
|
National Geographic Divers are adventurers, explorers, and conservationists. They have an interest in scuba diving and underwater science that goes beyond that of the average diver. They have an understanding of the importance of the aquatic realm and their role in preserving the resource for current and future generations.
Through Atlantis you can now attain the coveted National Geographic diver rating. You will study the NG almanac to enhance your knowledge of the underwater world. Then through a series of exercises in the water you will learn to truly master buoyancy, allowing you to better interact with the environment, and progress to skills like photography and videography.
You will also take part in exploration dives, involving information gathering, navigation, and marine identification. These skills will all lead to you having a greater awareness, and ability to take critical note of the dive sites you visit.
As a National Geographic Diver you will be a true ambassador for the underwater world. |

| PADI National Geographic Open Water Diver Program |
In addition to the Open Water course you will complete:
- The National Geographic knowledge review based on information gained from the NG Almanac and DVD.
- Hovering in three different positions – horizontal; head slightly elevated; feet slightly elevated.
- Either – Navigate a square pattern using compass and/or natural features; OR Locate and identify various marine life.
- One additional dive involving an exploration project that includes gathering information and/or images.
Course includes special NG logbook binder and DVD. |
