As a PADI Professional, you do things others only dream of.
Whether you work in a local dive center, at a resort, or on a live aboard dive boat, the adventure of a lifetime is yours for the taking.
Imagine a job where you actually look forward to heading off to work in the morning. Lead a life others fantasize about. Sailing into incredible sunsets could be the rule, not the exception, especially if you work in a tropical dive destination. The commute to work could be as easy as a ten-minute boat ride. Work now becomes an adventure in itself. While experiencing new cultures and lifestyles, you'll be surrounded by people who are always happy. When you take people diving all day - everyone's happy. It's not all fun and games in paradise, but the rewards are well worth the effort.
If you set your sights close to home and aspire to work at a local dive center, you teach people how to dive and guide trips to exotic dive destinations. There's a sense of pride sharing something you are passionate about. You help others enrich their own lives by experiencing the adventure of diving.
About Our IDC's
Atlantis IDCs are run byCourse Directors Andy Pope and Pedro Magsino who have over two decades of teaching and diving experience between them. They are supported by staff instructors with a variety of backgrounds and experiences… all of whom will play a key part of achieving our two primary goals; making your time with us as fun, rewarding and worthwhile as possible and secondly in making you a well rounded instructor prepared to meet the challenges of today's diverse diving industry. (click here for more information on the Go Pro Team)
We have all seen adverts depicting life as a diving instructor as one laying on a beach or soaking up the sun. You don't become a success anywhere by laying on the beach and our programs are challenging and stimulating. But we do guarantee one of the nicest locations in Asia you could want to be kept busy in. The scenery is spectacular and the diving stunning, and unbelievably convenient. Our resorts represent the best in service and facilities the Philippines has to offer; the atmosphere is fun and the ambience captivating. You'll learn why our guests have coined the phrase “come as guest… leave as friend”.
Both our resorts are PADI Five Star CDC Facilities denoting the highest standards of diver education; we are also a National Geographic Center and receive regular awards for our contributions to the dive industry! Liveaboards and a full range of technical diving complete the picture and ensure you'll see everything that makes the dive industry tick during your training. You will use a comfortable 12 seat air-conditioned conference room as your base, just meters from a purpose built training pool. Our facilities include personalized equipment storage area, a purpose built camera room, wireless internet facilities and dive sites just minutes from the resort. You will find we embrace the latest training philosophies, ideas and materials and work to make you the most all round employable instructor possible.

Preparation Days
“All our IDC’s are preceded by four preparation days. They are included in your package and we highly recommend that you attend them.
Whether you recently completed your Divemaster course but still feel the need to brush up on some skills or theory, or maybe waited some years or even did your Divemaster training with another training agency, the Preparation Days will be very valuable to you.
The four days include repetition of the skill circuit (20 skills in the pool), reviews of all dive theory exams from the Divemaster program, review of the Instructor Manual, Padi Standards and Procedures, practicing your Rescue skills, practice controlling students in Open Water and of course paperwork.
The Preparation Days focus on the areas where you need more support, and gives you time to review and repeat these areas with a Course Director, before the actual IDC program starts.”
